One Circuit event produced two different storylines. WSOP reported on September 22 that the Texas Card House Main Event in Austin drew 2,090 entries, setting a WSOP Circuit Main Event entry-count record. Eric “Slick Ric” Chang ultimately won the title, earning USD 433,670 and a Circuit gold ring.

Another player attracting attention at the same event was 22-year-old Lucas Jumalon. Having just won the 2026 WSOP World Main Event, he entered this tournament's final day as the chip leader, but did not win another title.

The figure 2,090 here is the official entries total, meaning entry records rather than 2,090 distinct people.
